Thai chef Yuphen Sianghen run SILK & SPICE kitchen. When asked a question, she smiles and hides her mouth behind her hands, like a young Asian girl. Kind and shy, cooking is Yuphen's true passion. She spent her teenage years not in her bedroom but in the kitchen, her imagination forever conjuring up new ideas. Today, at the age of 50, Yuphen describes her cooking style as 'creative'. She has always loved trying out new dishes based on unfamiliar ingredients. Her creativity is something she has inherited from her mother. Yuphen likes the idea of creating an 'elaborate' dish out of basic ingredients.
